I volunteer with the men in the Christ-centered addiction-recovery at the Nashville Rescue Mission every month (for 10 years now! — the ministry team I'm with [folks from lots of middle TN churches] and I host a fellowship–worship gathering there for the guys in their 6th or 7th month of the program and for any program graduate who wants to attend), and I get to hear their sides of 'family restoration' stories like yours and your brother's. It's awesome to hear it from the side of a family member who has been hurt by a loved one's horrible choices. I love tracing God's hand and seeing His heart in how He brings families back together… and hearing the testimonies of His transforming human hearts. Thanks be to Him for what He's done in your brother, in you, and in your relationship with each other!
