Almost a year ago, my friend Ben Turner and I were having dinner discussing a book we were both reading when told me about a place called Safe Haven.
This place has changed my life.
It’s a family homeless shelter that gives families a starting over point.
It gives parents a chance to relearn skills needed to get back on their feet.
But the kids…
They are the ones who have changed me. Every smile. Every hug.
